Fixit Peace isn’t insurance, and we won’t pretend it is. The emergency call-out, the first hour on site and emergency parts are included — up to 2 emergencies a year. Anything larger is quoted upfront by the Fixer, before you commit. What you’re buying is readiness: priority when it matters, a home profile that’s ready before the panic, twice-yearly checks that catch small problems while they’re still small, and a verified network that already knows your home.
The fine print, plainly
Fixit Peace is a 12-month membership. Cover starts 72 hours after you join. Included: the emergency call-out, the first hour on site, and emergency parts, for up to 2 home emergencies a year under a fair-use policy (Complete adds roadside coordination). Repairs, parts and labour beyond the included hour, and any towing, are quoted separately and approved by you before work continues.
The Safety & Readiness Check is a visual inspection, not a compliance certificate. Regulated gas and electrical compliance work is always performed and certified by an appropriately licensed tradesperson.
Fixit Peace helps organise requests and connect you with verified Fixers. Emergency services should be contacted first where there is immediate danger.

Can I cancel anytime?
Fixit Peace is a 12-month membership, managed from your account. Your cover and your price are held for the full term, and full cancellation and renewal terms are in the membership Terms.
Why do benefits start after 72 hours?
It keeps membership fair — and $29. People join before an emergency, not during one. Already mid-emergency? You can still post it free as a pay-as-you-go request, then join so the next one's covered.
Does membership include free repairs?
The emergency call-out, the first hour on site and emergency parts are included, up to 2 emergencies a year. Anything larger is quoted separately — always before you commit. Membership is the priority, the preparation and the twice-yearly check that make the repair smaller and calmer.
Can I still post normal trade jobs?
Always, free. Renovations, a new fence, a bathroom upgrade — post any standard job whether you're a member or not. Membership is for emergency peace of mind.
Are your Fixers licensed and insured?
Yes. Every Fixer is verified for the relevant licence and insurance before work is assigned. Regulated gas and electrical work is always performed and certified by an appropriately licensed tradesperson.
Can I cover a rental or investment property?
